Quality and pride go hand-in-hand at CP-Carrillo. Manufacturing a CP-Carrillo rod is much more than cutting a forging, meeting production goals and shipping deadlines. The design of connecting rods has evolved into a collaboration of skilled specialists. Every connecting rod is a symphony of precision: material specialist, forging precision, production craftsman, design engineers and engine specialists each contribute know-how and artistry.
Feedback from Carrillo's customers helps them continuously improve their products. They find that the close relationship between customer, engineering and manufacturing yields the most effective rod design -while improving accuracy and service- an added value you’ll discover during your engine build. –CP-Carrillo’s dimensional integrity is comparable to none.
CP-Carrillo engineers continually refine our connecting rod designs to obtain that elusive goal –perfection in performance.
When you buy a CP-Carrillo connecting rod CP-Carillo strives to put you in the winner’s circle; you get their commitment to quality and performance, before, during and after the sale!
The straight H-beam is the stoutest beam configuration available from CP-Carillo. It is capable of handling the most abusive forces in an engine.
CP-Carrillo employs fasteners designed by CP-Carrillo. There are two different materials: H-11 tool steel (220,000 ultimate tensile strength or UTS) aka WMC as well as Multiphase TM (285,000 UTS) aka CARR. All of their fasteners employ a patented thread design as well as the highest dimensional integrity in the industry. Each lot is sample tested destructively for both ultimate tensile strength as well as fatigue.
NOTE: Standard 8740 chrome-moly ARP rod bolts are rated at 180,000 and 210,000 psi UTS, and ARP 2000 rod bolts are rated at 220,000 psi UTS.
