DeatschWerks In-line fuel filters are high flow, all stainless filter media with correct micron ratings for both prefilter and after pump filter installations. Featuring both conventional micron filtration as well as a magnetic ring on the end of the filter element to catch ferrous particles.

It is recommended to have a 10 Micron or finer filter after the fuel pump and before the injectors in any EFI installation. Runner larger micron filters at this location can allow particles to pass into the injectors and contaminate them leading to improper fuel delivery or locking up.

If running a fuel pump external to the fuel tank, it is recommended to run a 100 micron filter before the pump. Finer filters at this location can cause undue wear and tear on the pump.
