KO Racing Phenolic TVIS Eliminator

The factory Toyota variable intake system (TVIS) is comprised of a plate sandwiched between the intake manifold and the cylinder head. When upgrading the flow through the engine, it can be removed and replaced by a fully open eliminator plate removing the restriction of the factory butterfly system. KO Racing brings you an eliminator plate CNC machined from high strength Garolite (aka Phenolic). KO Racing can machine this for you from a few different materials depending on your requirements.
    Material:

  • Grade G10/FR4 Garolite: A glass-cloth laminate with epoxy resin binder, this material is the flame-retardant version of standard G-10 Garolite. It offers excellent strength and low water absorption. 50,000 psi tensile strength. Green/Yellow in color (pictured above). Operating temperature range: -20 deg F to 284 deg F. Water absorption: 0.15%. Rockwell hardness: M115.

*NOTE: This is for use on Gen 2 3SGTE engines originally available on ST185 Celicas (1990-1993) and SW20 MR2s (1990-1993 outside US, and 1991-1995 within the US). This *may* work on Gen 1 3sgte also (as of 01-10-22, I am 90% confident it will work on Gen 1 3SGTE ST165 engine applications).
