KO Racing Gen5 3SGTE Adapter with Link Plug-in ECU

Finally a fully integrated Plug In EMS option for ST246 3sgte Engines. Link does not themselves currently make a plug-in ecu for the Caldina Gen4 3SGTE engine, so that typically leaves the option of adapting one of their wire in ecus, or adapting a plug in ecu from a different application to the Gen 5 wiring and pinout. What KO Racing has done is design a board that allows the control/logic board from a Link Plug-in ecu to be put directly inside of a GEN 5 3SGTE ecu case similar to Link’s other plug-in ecu options.

Beyond being a basic pinout and connector interface to allow the option to "plug and play" with the Link ecu, we have gone a step further by integrating the necessary design features to allow to optionally add an on-board 4 bar map sensor and on-board wideband with ecu programmable on/off control. Using these options can cut down on installation time dramatically. Installation can become virtually as simple as running a wideband sensor and cable to the ecu, and running a vaccum line to the ecu from the intake manifold. Plug in your USB cable, plug in the ecu into the car and start tuning.

  • 4 bar on board map sensor for up to 43.5psi boost or you can use the OEM map sensor - just disable whichever input you don't want to use (approximately 2.5 bar for the OEM sensor or good to 20psi boost)
  • 14point7.com Spartan LSU4.9 On board Wideband (optional)
  • Directly bolts into the 3SGTE Caldina 5th Generation engine control unit case - modifications/drilling/trimming required to run wires and hose out from inside the case

    NOTE: Price includes a Link Plug In ecu control board installed onto the KO Racing Adapter with a KO Racing base calibration. The base calibration is intended only to get the vehicle started and running. Tuning by an experienced tuner will be required or possible serious engine damage could occur.

    NOTE: This product is intended for tuning manual transmission vehicles and includes no provisions for automatic transmission control. It is intended primarily for vehicles that have swapped in the ST246 Caldina 3SGTE engine or ST246 Caldina ecu and engine control wiring. This ecu does not have Automatic transmission control and is only for manual transmission vehicles without ECU based transmission control.
